You can go and view Saudi Arabia’s ancient past at the Louvre museum in Paris at an exhibition, which opened on Wednesday the 14th of July 2010.

According to Beatrice Andre-Salvani, director of the department of Near Eastern Antiquities at the Louvre, the exhibition comprises works that “have never been seen not just in the West, but for the most part not in Saudi Arabia,”  - AFP.

What’s on this summer in Paris

On holiday to Paris? See what’s happening this summer in the City of Light. Paris offers visitors many exciting activities and cultural opportunities while touring their beautiful city during the months of June, July, and August.
June takes off with the French Open running through the 6th. Beginning the latter part of June, La Fete de la Musique takes off with its’ vibrant street music festival. Take the day to enjoy a picnic in one of Paris’ lovely parks or gardens. Come evening, celebrate with an enormous dance party over the Place de la Bastille. Numerous film festivals begin this month. The Paris Cinema Film Festival runs through July 9 attracting celebrities from all over the world. The Open-Air Cinema Festival in the Parc de la Villette begins July 25th and runs well into August. Native Parisians and tourists alike enjoy spreading a blanket on the ground and watching the films on an outdoor screen. If that isn’t enough to keep you occupied, take in one of Paris’ many famous galleries or museums. There is more than enough to entertain you in this beautiful city for the summer!

Paris Airports

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is the second busiest passenger airport in Europe (after London Heathrow) and the largest airport serving Paris.

The airport is located 23 kilometres (14 miles) north-east of Paris and offers a selection of transport links to the French capital city by road and rail.

Paris Orly is located 13 km (8.1 mi) South of Paris, France. It has flights to cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, and North America. Orly was the main airport of Paris before they built Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Come to Paris
